Work you'll do

  • Program Management: Manage the scope, schedule, and risks related to Agency data remediation, reconciliation, legacy transition & support efforts required for preparation and transition to the new system
  • Legacy Data Quality Risk Assessment: Establish a process to measure data quality and prioritization of data remediation activities in the context of migration to the new system. Assess data quality to baseline the overall condition of the data and provide an understanding of the extent of data quality issues.
  • Legacy Data Remediation, Cleansing and Validation: Implement the Legacy Data Remediation Plan including identifying and prioritizing activities needed to mitigate and/or resolve data quality issues. Support the development of detailed data mapping.
  • Legacy Transition & Support: Provide support to Agency during data migration and conversion activities to include user training and operational support through data migration, conversion, and transition to new system

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active TS SCI clearance or higher required
  • Familiar with DoD Line of Accounting data structures and segments, including the Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS), and Standard Line of Accounting (SLOA)

Preferred:

  • Research and resolving complex contract reconciliation issues
  • Perform DoD contract reconciliations and contract close-out activities
  • Utilizing the Standard Contract Reconciliation Tool to identify overpayments, underpayments and adjustment transactions that need correction in the ledger in MOCAS.
  • Performing reconciliation between MOCAS records and accounting station financial record systems (DAI, SOMARDS), and provided recommendations required to bring MOCAS and accounting stations records in balance.
  • Project Experience with the following software: Momentum ERP, Defense Cash Accountability System (DCAS), Automated Disbursing System (ADS), Defense Travel System (DTS), Intergovernmental Payments and Collections (IPAC), DAI, MOCAS; Electronic Document Management (EDM); Electronic Document Access (EDA); Standard Contract Reconciliation Tool (SCRT); SOMARDS; Online Report Viewing (OLRV)
