What you will do:

The Project Manager - Robotics R&D is responsible for leading teams of professionals and/or influencing cross-functional managers/supervisors to achieve impactful business results. The job requires comprehensive understanding of the concepts and principles of project management. The ability to effectively translate technical/functional deliverables and associated dependencies into project execution strategies are paramount as the role often represents the voice of a cross-functional project team. This job typically requires a technical degree or equivalent and a minimum of 8 or more years experience.

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in projects that sustain and/or improve our products or business processes

  • Lead/ensure applicable change management processes and are followed

  • Effectively communicate project management topics to all levels of the organization, for all assignments

  • Proactively manage risks to minimize project variance, or exceed customer expectations

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in a technical or engineering discipline preferred

  • PMP or scrum master certification preferred

  • 4+ years experience required. Medical device or other regulated industry experience preferred. Cross-functional experience preferred.

  • 1+ years demonstrated project management experience in at least one discipline involving the pursuit of technical solutions required (RA/QA, R&D, Operations, etc.)

  • Demonstrated teamwork skills across functional/matrix organizations such as software, system design, platform, and test teams

  • Demonstrated experience in the application of project management tools and techniques such as WBS, Gantt Chart(s) and/or Network diagrams, Impact Analysis, Critical Path, etc.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and conduct effective meetings, including appropriate documentation and associated distribution

  • Demonstrated experience presenting to team members, peers, and Sr. leadership while building trusting relationships

  • Ability to build product knowledge and understanding of highly technical and scientific regulatory activities

  • Demonstrated technical communication skills
