What you will do

The Associate Marketing Automation Manager will be responsible for managing the marketing automation platform (Marketo) and fully leveraging its capabilities. Working closely with IT, designers, developers, project managers, marketeers and communications specialist this role will implement all programs and initiatives through Marketo. This person will have a strong foundation in marketing automation and will be tasked with creating, implementing and improving best practices ensuring continual enhancement of digital marketing efforts.

  • Partnering directly with the IT group act as product lead for platform enhancements, integration and evolution; directing and coordinating requirements, project staff and hands on execution of product development activities within the platform
  • Act as platform administrator, providing day to day production support for Marketo and other integrated platforms, including general troubleshooting, building and maintaining email and landing page templates, and data health management
  • Gather and document requirements using input from vendor documentation, industry best practices, users and stakeholders for future functional changes, identifying both short and long term solutions.
  • Help to ensure platforms are aligned with the current communication strategy of our business partners while continuing to keep an eye toward the future.
  • Help maintain consistency and scalability of functionality across all instances
  • Understand and evaluate campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance to the marketing team
  • Work with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance. Create recommendations to improve campaigns continuously
  • Partner with business to leverage real-time insights and track attribution from multiple customer touch points to optimize marketing campaigns and ROI

What you need

  • Four year degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent)
  • Minimum six years of work experience required
  • Marketo Certification or equivalent in another like platform preferred
  • 5+ years marketing automation experience in Marketo and other automated marketing platforms preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com with experience managing and supporting integration between automated marketing platforms and Salesforce as well as other 3rd party applications
  • Strong experience in Adobe Experience Manager
  • Experience working with multichannel communication delivery methods
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience defining business rules for complex communication templates
  • Experience building and using web services and Marketo webhooks
  • Product lifecycle management experience including bringing new products to market, deploying enhancements to existing products and migrating users to new products while retiring old ones
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple, cross functional platforms with rapid release cycles
  • Experience in developing business process requirements, use cases, use case model, supplementary requirements, and business rules
  • Prior experience interfacing with various partners, including internal business partners and vendors
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to think creatively
  • Ability to think in terms of the client/user experience
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
