What you will do-


You will be an engineering leader for a new engineering team for our new project. As the Associate Engineering Manager, you will design, validate, and bring new products to market. This role specifies precise new product functional requirements; designs, tests and integrates components to produce final designs; and evaluates the design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of exempt, Manufacturing Engineers and potentially non-exempt process technicians, focusing on manufacturing technologies & processes including machining, extrusion, micro-blasting, laser processing, acid etching and laser cutting.
  • Will innovatively tackle technically challenging problems to support improvements in production yield, capacity, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Work closely with the R&D design group to give manufacturing insight into the development and building of new technologies in the forefront of the neurovascular stroke care industry.
  • Advance manufacturing processes, advancing technology in a rapidly innovative neurovascular product line, with providing design for manufacturing feedback to commercial and design partners.
  • Participate in driving transformative change in the manufacturing processes of today, to deliver manufacturing excellence in the future.
  • Develop goals and metrics for the manufacturing engineering team directly related to production unit support.
  • Understand capital needs to maintain business requirements via capital expenditure requests, new product introduction, expanding manufacturing capacity, department budgets and driving cost savings.
  • Drive business until level strategy with strong influence on overall plant level strategy including visions for team, plant metrics, and building a supportive and inclusive manufacturing team environment.
  • Drive a cohesive and collaborative manufacturing strategy, building cross functional partnerships between plant stakeholders.
  • Responsible for mid-year and end-of-year performance reviews of your direct reports.

What you need-

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
  • 6 years of engineering experience required
  • New product development implementation experience preferred
  • Experience bringing new manufacturing operation into production preferred
