What you will do:

  • Develop, implement and manage the annual global transparency operations plan under the direction of Compliance senior leadership
  • Ensure annual plan is aligned with Global Compliance & Privacy risk-based priorities
  • Continually assess processes for improvement and adherence to changing regulations
  • Collaborate with Region and Divisional Compliance Officers for feedback to continually improve systems and processes to support accurate data and timely reporting, in line with regulatory requirements
  • Work collaboratively with Stryker enabling functions (e.g., Education and Communication, Monitoring and Analytics, Privacy, Risk, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Professional Affairs) to support training, communication, change management, monitoring and privacy plans and requirements
  • Support policy and procedure updates and enhancements
  • Create change management and communication plans in line with project initiatives
  • Support annual Compliance Risk Assessment initiatives
  • Create and manage global transparency mitigation and remediation plans
  • Demonstrate ability to identify issues, engage appropriate stakeholders, complete root cause analysis, and assess solution effectiveness
  • Maintains understanding of laws and regulations, enforcement actions and evolving practices relevant to compliance programming
  • Supports and interacts with 3rd party vendors and consultants as needed
  • Raise awareness of the program and foster accountability for ethics and integrity
  • Champion a proactive approach to Compliance focused on partnership, prevention, and risk mitigation

What you will need:

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Graduate degree or professional accreditation preferred (e.g., MBA, MS, JD, CFE, CCEP)
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience required
  • Demonstrates knowledge and clear understanding of the required elements of effective compliance programs and experience with AdvaMed or PhRMA Code and other relevant compliance standards (e.g., DOJ Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs, OIG Elements of an Effective Compliance Program, Section 8B 2.1 of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines)
  • Demonstrated experience with US Federal, State, local and/or global transparency reporting requirements
  • Experience managing transformation projects with ability to showcase understanding of technical requirements/scope (e.g., digitization, automation)
  • Possesses excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to drive complex work of significant impact to the organization.
  • Demonstrate an ability to execute tasks and projects without direct oversight and a significant ability to operate independently.
