Job Summary

The Project Manager will manage and oversee all aspects of their project to include planning, budgets, customer satisfaction, resources, and workforce to ensure successful completion of each project.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.
  • Activity and resource planning.
  • Organize and motive a project team.
  • Cost estimating and budget development assuring successful project completion.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction via high Monthly Assessments and Contractor Performance Assessments.
  • Analyze and manage project risk including both physical safety, project completion issues, and budget issues.
  • Project monitoring to include reports and meeting updates.
  • Perform other qualified duties as assigned
  • Typical physical demands or activities may include standing, bending, stooping, pushing, kneeling, reaching and walking.
  • Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions.
  • May be required to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
  • CONUS: Generally works in normal office environment, but may be required to travel domestically and internationally on short notice, to austere environments, under harsh living conditions
  • OCONUS: Some positions will be assigned to overseas locations where living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable, with long hours, exposure to weather, dust, and hazardous/harsh conditions

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a U.S Accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Management or Engineering from an accredited 4-year college/university or equivalent institution. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage projects and drive results with the ability to plan, organize and build effective teams, and motivate others in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and comfort with facilitating teams/groups and working with all levels in the organization.
  • Understanding of human resource, finance, and taxation requirements in a multinational environment.
  • Knowledge of federal government service contracting process and associated local, state, federal, and other regulations.
  • Must be able to obtain a CAC.
  • Must be able to type using a standard keyboard to communicate through e-mail and various software applications.
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and ear over telephone.
  • The PM shall have at least five years relevant experience at ta comparable level of responsibility in projects of similar size, scope and complexity. At least three years of experience shall be as an independent field manager. Experience in a management or supervisory capacity in a remote/contingency location with a multi-national work force is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of related experience with three (3) years in a lead or supervisory/management role.
  • Project Management experience (PMP preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong financial skills with understanding of budgets and activity-based costing.
  • Deep understanding of business administration processes and procedures.
