Work you'll do

  • Project Manager is generally responsible for more 6-10 active case at a time with several of the cases possibly in the discovery and/or document review stage, one case in trial, several in the deposition preparation/witness binder stage, etc
  • The Project Manager is the Government's primary point of contact for all support for the case
  • The Project Manager will have frequent contact with the COR, Government Case Managers, trial attorneys, client agency staff, and sometimes even opposing counsel

Discovery is constantly evolving and changing as data volumes and sources continue to grow exponentially. We aim to help our clients solve their most pressing data management challenges by bringing key stakeholders together and helping them to navigate challenges such as cloud migration, implications of new technologies, evolving data sources, and pressure due to time constraints or regulatory requirements. Our practice has established itself as a leader in delivering the full spectrum of Discovery services to government agencies. Our teams apply eDiscovery leading practices and leverage analytics technology, as well as traditional legal research and writing, to assist government attorneys and agency staff through the litigation or information request process.

Our teams work with government attorneys on litigation readiness; to collect, process, analyze, review, and produce data; and to support discovery requests, depositions, hearings, and trials. Our team applies decades of experience and knowledge gleaned from thousands of cases to each stage of a litigation or dispute engagement, from case theory development and discovery to witness testimony. We use proprietary tools, methodologies, and technology-including data mining and mapping, electronic discovery, and computer forensic capabilities-to address our clients' needs.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience on major litigation support projects, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys
  • Responsible for planning and managing all support for the case, including monitoring
  • Requires expert knowledge of litigation support; outstanding writing skills; excellent oral communication skills; and excellent management skills
  • Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources required such as Relativity
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active Public Trust security clearance required
  • While some travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice

Preferred:
  • Law degree, advanced technical certification, or other pertinent graduate degree valued
  • Knowledge of the Government's data processing environment in which the work is to be performed, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, and internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as but not limited to Oracle, Relativity or other document review platform
