This opportunity is located in Lakeland FL, however the current laboratories will be moving to Phoenix AZ at the end of 2022. We will consider candidates located in either Lakeland FL who are willing to relocate, or candidates located in Phoenix AZ who are willing to travel to Lakeland FL monthly until the move is complete.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure completion of all analytical and bio-analytical testing including special project/protocol testing in timely and appropriate manner.
  • Ensure product testing plan attainment, and that all products released meet the pre-determined quality control requirements.
  • Manage the laboratory team to continuously fully comply with all quality and regulatory standard requirements.
  • Assist during implementation of quality and regulatory requirements (FDA,EU, GLP, and guidelines) and ensure compliance with testing procedures and specifications
  • Monitor the testing techniques and accuracy of all records and documentation that are done in the laboratory.
  • Initiate pro-active functions to impact production, increase efficiency in the laboratory.
  • Direct supervision of laboratory personnel.
  • Ensure that all documentation is prepared, reviewed and revised as per regulatory requirements
  • Assure lab equipment is qualified, calibrated and within PM program; support and/or execute spider web and five pillars’ audits per approved schedule.
  • Manage and maintain analytical lab equipment (e.i. GC/MS, TOC, etc.).

What you Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science related field, Chemistry field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytical lab as a service provider
  • Experience in operating analytical lab equipment, and analytical testing techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
