Work you'll do

Provide Oversight of financial reporting and general ledger for Non-US based business and support services including US India (USI). Supports integration of acquisitions or expansion of existing organizations. Communicate with variety of stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting including statutory financial statement requirements.

About the Team

The Financial Reporting team is a part of the Chief Accounting Officer organization and supports with accounting and financial reporting for the firm and entities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and approval of funding of USI operations
  • Coordination with US team on status of India tax positions and related accounting (uncertain tax positions) and planning and forecasting
  • Coordination and approval of hedging activities including GAAP documentation and forecast of operating expenses (basis for forward contract purchases)
  • Monitoring and approvals relative to accounting for US consulting projects in India that qualify for permanent establishment treatment (includes funding requests and approval of financial statements)
  • Performs analysis and review of: account reconciliations, USI dashboards, significant journal entries, periodic and year-end closing activities, F/X revaluation process, lead schedules (USI and projects entities), USI headcount statistics, blocked headcount accounting and royalty accounting
  • Global Finance Services/CoRe Procurement - oversight/consultation on accounting methods, including organizational structure, blocked headcount
  • Mexico Delivery Center - operations oversight including consolidation accounting
  • Periodic foreign exchange gain/loss tracking and related balance sheet revaluation

Qualifications:
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Position will have significant work complexity and requires a strong grasp of intermediate accounting principles.
  • Experience with financial analysis and consolidations.
  • Strong technical aptitude relating to accounting systems; prior SAP preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills are crucial as the position involves the ability to satisfy and influence various stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Must be a team player, detail oriented with be able to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • All candidates must be willing and able to travel as needed for their clients, however, depending on staffing needs, most positions are in-office-based with limited travel required. Ability to travel up to 25%. While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • CPA required.
