What you’ll be doing...

The Senior Manager of Salesforce.com and Einstein Analytics (Tableau CRM) Reports and Dashboards will lead a dynamic team of business technology professionals - solution providers/business analysts, and developers focused on our Verizon Business Group division. The senior leader will be responsible for leading operations for building reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com and Einstein Analytics (Tableau CRM) platforms.

  • Lead all projects, small or big, for the Einstein Analytics Salesforce.com platforms.
  • Lead the team to develop into a critical technical and business advisory resource to various users of the Einstein Analytics platform while also managing the ongoing flow of projects assigned to the group.
  • Lead all activities for building reports and dashboards within Salesforce.com platforms.
  • Lead all activities for building reports and dashboards in Einstein Analytics platforms.
  • Lead the team in cross-functional teamwork engaged with leaders from all levels of the business, sales, marketing, etc., in an effort to assess business opportunities for technology and to design actionable reports and dashboards that leverage our Verizon investment in platforms and technical resources.
  • Be the technical advisor to business leadership given their background and mastery of the capabilities of the various platforms available.
  • Lead the team in meeting with stakeholders to review the challenges and opportunities for reports and dashboard needs - sales, marketing, and many other users of the system.
  • Lead the team in creating ideas/designs and documenting these as user stories / requirements.
  • Lead the team in developing reports and dashboards.
  • Lead the team in planning and creation of UAT test plans.
  • Lead the team in executing the test plans.
  • Lead the team in creation and execution of pre and post project implementation plans.
  • Lead the team in training the support teams who provide user support for the platform.
  • Manage and develop direct reports.
  • Promote continuous personal improvement by encouraging self and team members to enroll in various Salesforce.com education programs.
  • Manage workload for team members and report on project/tasks assignments of all team members on a weekly basis.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings and at least 1:1 meetings with team members.
  • Report work highlights on a weekly basis.

This position can sit in any valid Verizon Location.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree or eight or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience in building reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com and Einstein Analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrable business and technical knowledge of reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com and Einstein Analytics platforms.
  • Experience with key software development methods with focus on requirements documentation/user stories, technical designs, UAT planning/execution, release planning, and pre and post deployment plans.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Salesforce Certifications.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Agile software methodologies - Jira, etc.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Tableau platform.
