We are currently seeking a Manager, Hub Operations to join Stryker in the Concord, California area.

What you will do:

  • Manage inventory levels (both implants and instruments) to meet the needs of the territory while adhering to company days on hand and turn objectives.
  • Controlling inventory using available system tools to ensure accuracy for implants (part and lot number level) and instrument sets (set and lot number level) in hospital consignments, and in office(s)/storage locations
  • Leading the activities of a diverse group of individuals to ensure team goals are met. This could include additional locations other than the main Hub assigned. Ability to understand diverse personalities and effectively engage them through process change.
  • Change management – Turning a group of individuals into a team and coaching them through process changes along the way
  • Communicate policy and procedures to the Sales Manager and Sales Representatives to ensure understanding and impact on Company goals.
  • History of working with cross functional teams IE Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Resolution of field representative, sales managers and/or customer concerns or complaints
  • A high degree of initiative and self-motivation is needed to meet continuously changing priorities.


What you need:

  • 8+ years’ professional experience
  • Preferably high volume, customer service, inventory, leadership experience, problem solving and budget experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 6 years of equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree

Additionally, you will need

  • Required to pass annual driving abstract
  • Valid driver’s license with no restrictions required
  • Knowledge and skill with JD Edwards (ERP systems) is a plus
  • Ability to initiate change and coach employees through that change
  • Strong understanding of employee personalities and ability to engage them effectively
  • Ability to bring together a diverse group of people and turn them into a team
