Amentum is seeking a Logistics Manager in West Palm Beach, FL to work as part of a close knit team, as well as independently, to accomplish a range of functions as you support AUTEC. As a member of the team you will:

• Responsible for the management and coordination of branch, plant, or department operation strategies and activities and may assist with the review, development, and implementation of organizational policies, practices, procedures, and attainment of operating goals. Reviews, analyzes, and prepares reports, records, and directives, and confers with managers/supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities.
• Assign or delegate responsibility for specified work or functional activities and disseminate policies and objectives to supervisors/staff.
• May organize resources to ensure effective production of goods and/or services, give work direction, resolve problems, prepare schedules, and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
• Ensure adequate training of staff and employee compliance to organization's policies and practices, and coordinate activities of the department with related activities of other departments to ensure efficiency and economy.
• Monitors and analyzes costs and prepare department budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be a U.S citizen.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S government security clearance.
• Demonstrated one - three years’ professional experience. Must have ability to read, interpret and apply instructions, publications, and safety rules.
