Job Description:

  • Responsible for reliable delivery of Applications support, systems and services for the franchise including coordination of stakeholders and management of the resources necessary to achieve it.

What you will do:

  • Oversee and co-ordinate the delivery and integration of digital shopfloor and manufacturing executing systems (MES, ERP, SCADA, local applications)

  • Manage resources and people processes (e.g., Performance Review, Career Development, Training, Staffing, etc.) to ensure the day to day administration of processes and formal procedures.

  • Provide expert guidance in a technology domain to support architectures for applications and databases.

  • Champion training, development and career pathing.

  • Actively promote performance management and coaching of the digital support teams and users.

  • Drive and lead engagement within the team

  • Promote process improvements (i.e., application enhancements, procedure changes, and staff cross-training) to reduce costs for supporting and maintaining applications and databases.

  • Encourage modernization efforts as they relate to aligning application best practices and strategies to align with industry standards.

  • Promote new and existing technologies to maintain a competitive advantage, increase technology performance, and optimize operational effectiveness.

  • Balance multiple projects and deployment schedules to meet stakeholder goals and expectations.

  • Make cost effective and customer focused decisions on applications use.

  • Implement “game changing” applications and processes that enable scalable, repeatable approaches to achieve desired outcomes in support of each of the manufacturing business.

  • Hold self and others accountable to support global organizational, social, and moral values.

  • Collaboratively work to set meaningful performance objectives; set specific development goals and identifies milestones for goal achievement.

  • Focus on return-on-investment (ROI) when determining and executing on strategic priorities associated with applications.

  • Communicate a clear understanding and appreciation of the fundamental drivers of the organizational success.

What you need:

  • Bachloer's Degree within a Business IT or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of Manager experience is required

  • Significant knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices.

  • Experience with deep understanding of IT Applications and Technology is required

  • Vast Experience with database management.

  • Expert on Project management principles with certifications preferred.
