Job Summary

Amentum is currently searching for a Senior Quality Manager to work remotely to support our Customs and Border Protection program.

You’re a solutions-oriented, hands-on leader that is willing to listen and collaborate with your team. You are a Quality Manager who is customer focused and has led and managed quality programs. You’ll be the go-to resource for our Amentum Quality Team in the field and office.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a small group of quality representatives in a group office or working on a portion of a project.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and plan methods of approach and organizes means to achieve solution of complex technical problems.
  • Participate in the development, maintenance, and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs.
  • Provide leadership for new systems, proposals, implementation, procedures, and any related quality activity.
  • Make frequent decisions using principles and professional independent judgment.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to support the completion of projects.
  • Participate in the development, maintenance, and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs.
  • Recommend corrective action to quality problems.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • at least 8 years experience in area of specialization
  • Must hae the ability to obtain and maintain a CBP security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lead Auditor/Auditor Certificate desired
  • Good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required
