Procedures Operations Manager
Job Summary
Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of Amentum, managing and operating contractor of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Procedures Operations Manager to join our Operations team located in Carlsbad, NM.
The successful candidate will support the Manager of Technical Training and Procedures and will be organizationally accountable for the day-to-day functions, processes, and deliverables of the Procedures and Document Services Organization. Will ensure the design, development, and distribution of administrative, response, and technical procedures and documents to support the operations of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant with respect to normal, abnormal, and emergency conditions. Will ensure that personnel assigned to the organization perform their duties and activities regarding format, order, conciseness, style, verification, and validation in accordance with established procedures and guides. Will exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the company; which include safety, integrity, ownership, respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
NWP Exempt Salary Grade (32 - 34)
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree plus three (3) years of related experience, or
- Associate’s degree plus seven (7) years of related experience, or
- High School Diploma or GED with eleven (11) years of related experience is required.
- Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be US Citizens.
Preferred Qualifications
- Competencies in technical writing and communication skills are preferred.
- Previous WIPP Project experience is a plus.
