Designs, develops and implements sales programs to meet the organization's business objectives. Plans, directs and coordinates the efforts of sales toward the accomplishment of objectives.

This is a management position that contributes and achieves results through others. The role is responsible for managing subordinates in professional jobs or managing through subordinate managers / supervisors or is a leader of process that achieves results through others, whom are not direct reports. Job requires comprehensive understanding of the concepts and principles in their discipline. The requirement for a broader knowledge implies the need to understand other concepts and principles in context in order to resolve issues that have an impact beyond the area. The job has full management of a team, including management of people, defining roles and responsibilities, planning for the department's future needs and operations, counselling employees on performance and contributing to employee pay decisions or changes. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 8 or more years experience.

Manage activity and productivity standards, time management, territory management, schedules.

Initiate monthly work with sessions including a follow up letter for development

Conduct monthly review of data tracker sales results with salesperson

Develop and manage ABC Target Pipeline lists

Recruit, hire, train, develop and promote sales professionals.

Establish monthly meetings with Area VP Sales to discuss Region goals and status

Initiate strategic communication with Home Office Management and Sales Management

Submit Quarterly Operations report to Area VP Sales

Review and analyze sales commission reports and statements

Conduct minimum of Quarterly Region Team sales training sessions.

Conduct individual download meetings with each sales person

Be accessible for daily trouble shooting and strategic discussions with each sales person

Communicate regularly with Marketing Directors, Corporate Accounts, regarding strategic

selling situations

Reinforce Sports Medicine Sales philosophy and culture statement

Create healthy competitive “Team” environment

Be involved in top ABC Target Accounts and competitive situations

*Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related area

Minimum 7 years of experience in sales

Demonstrated experience in sales field's concepts, practices and procedures
