What you’ll be doing...

Our digital team is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to ensure we deliver a best in class digital experience for our Verizon Business customers. The work you do will ensure that our digital marketing execution is the best it can be by setting priorities and defining the optimal path for implementation across our three disciplines of digital marketing (traffic optimization, digital experience and content marketing), socializing those plans with key stakeholders, making strategic decisions and recommending plans for evolving the experience, with autonomy to carve the path forward. Your goal is to ensure that we continue to deliver an unmatched customer experience.

  • Works hand-in-hand with the Director to manage the Digital Marketing roadmap and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive progress toward objectives across the 3 core teams within Digital Marketing: Traffic Optimization, Digital Experience and Content Marketing.

  • Organizes and aligns strategic priorities within the team, ensuring that connections, communication and collaboration are happening within the Digital Marketing team, within the larger Digital team and across our key stakeholders (IT, Integrated Marketing, Media, Design, Creative).

  • Identifies opportunities to bring together important stakeholders to help drive decisions; helps facilitate those calls.

  • Tracks our team KPIs, with support from the Analytics team, and leads analysis reviews and discussions within Digital Marketing to define what is working and where remediation plans are necessary.

  • Proposes the creation of new processes and ways of working to streamline operations, within our team and outside our team, with key stakeholders.

  • Works with Director and Senior Managers to capture new strategic plans and take steps to orchestrate those new plans.

  • Supports a chief of staff function as follows:

  • Supports return on investment analysis for new funding requests and post-launch projects delivered.

  • Helps to support the Director by covering critical meetings, with autonomy, to ensure strategy can be executed.

  • Prepares for critical meetings. Captures key action items in critical meetings and follows through to close out action items.

  • Helps to prepare reports, presentations, speaking points. Distills data down into major findings for key meetings, to help socialize our strategy, plans and outcomes.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience distilling and synthesizing data and strategy for leadership consumption.

  • Project management experience and prioritization skills.

  • Marketing experience.

  • Experience managing cross-functional projects.

  • Experience managing marketing budgets.

  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Master’s Degree.

  • 10-15 years of project management, operational or marketing experience.

  • A self-starter with the confidence and experience to develop and execute plans and take ownership of marketing activities to get results.

  • Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and work independently.

  • Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels of the business and to various stakeholder groups, both in writing and verbally.

  • Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills and presentation skills.

  • Excellent judgment and the ability to handle escalated situations in a fast paced environment.

  • Proven ability to review and analyze various reports to measure and communicate success.

  • Proven ability to build and execute business cases / financial analysis.

  • Proven experience in implementing and delivering value through digital content.

  • Knowledge of creative and technical development processes involved in producing web content.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Workfront by Adobe.

  • Experience managing a multi-million dollar budget.
