Business Analyst - Network Tools

Job Summary

Amentum is currently seeking a Business Analyst I to support an IT Managed Services program for the Department of Energy. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations. The Business Analyst will provide on-site and off-site business process and systems analysis support services for specific classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems for National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia (NTESS).

Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts and in translating business process needs into technical requirements. Provide expertise in change management and training support.
• Provide organizational and strategic planning for a wide variety of technical and functional environments.
• Provide expertise in, but not limited to, Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis and Technical Analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be a U.S citizen.
• Must possess a DoD SECRET or DOE L level and the ability to maintain clearance throughout the life of the contract.
• Must have a Bachelors degree and 2 years of related experience or Associates degree and 5 years of related experience or High School / GED and 8 years of related experience.

• DoD TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q level security clearance.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in the following areas:
  • Windows Server Administrator (Primary skill)
  • Advanced PC Systems support and workstation operating systems.
  • End user support for installs and maintenance of PCs, laptops, tablets and peripherals.
  • Windows OS installs
  • Windows refresh on Oscilloscopes, National Instrument Testers equipment.
