Business Solutions Analyst – Enterprise Data Management

The Business Solutions Analyst for Enterprise Data Management must have a solid set of experience working with multiple business stakeholders and I/T to define and implement complex technology solutions. This person must be organized, have excellent communication skills, and have experience setting and meeting targets for implementing solutions. A working knowledge of insurance business processes, workflow, and systems is a plus.

The Business Solution Analyst for Enterprise Data Management will provide analysis support for the implementation of new capabilities in Chubb’s enterprise client management tool. This person will collaborate with and coordinate the efforts of our business teams (Product SME’s, Development, Operations, Compliance, and Legal) and with both our consulting and internal IT system implementation teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage simple / intermediate / complex business deliverables through the development lifecycle to completion including requirements, I/T clarifications and support, testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Evaluate and work with appropriate groups to understand operational impacts of changes and ensure business continuity and implementation of new features
  • Understand the overall business processes to develop, document, and communicate requirements to technical IT team.
  • Collaborate with digital development teams to manage scope, manage business partner expectations, and provide input into the identification of risks, dependencies, and stakeholders as input into sprint planning.
  • Initiate, conduct and facilitate discussions with multiple stakeholders, and translate the results and issues to the business and IT teams.
  • Gain expertise in the business units supported, as well as an understanding of the IT organization's systems and capabilities.
  • Provide input to the QA team’s test strategy and approach to ensure that the designed solutions satisfy the business requirements.
  • Collaborate and support business partners to develop acceptance criteria and a plan to facilitate user acceptance testing to ensure that the solution meets the business needs.
