What you’ll be doing...

The prepaid CRM team is a part of the Prepaid Marketing Team within Verizon’s Consumer business unit. Our mission is to reduce churn, provide insights that facilitate easy, personalized interactions between Verizon and its customers and increase customer engagement. Our North Star is the customer experience. As part of the Verizon prepaid marketing team, the Pega Business Analyst is responsible for

  • Leading requirements sessions between the Business and Technical audiences to solve Marketing problems and to turn Pega-oriented Marketing use cases into tangible requirements.
  • Converting the business requirement into PEGA prop matrix rule sets.
  • This person will be regarded as a Pega Subject Matter Expert and will be tasked with facilitating business requirement discussions, acting as a conduit between Business and IT, and providing end-to-end expertise on core Verizon technical systems.
  • Partnering closely with Marketing Strategy, Business Intelligence, and GTS to drive Pega Innovation and Optimization solutions.
  • Business Analyst will work with PEGA developers to convert the business rules into PEGA campaigns.
  • Work with prepaid marketing team to understand the key business strategy and translate that into technical requirement.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Three or more years as a project or product manager.
  • Experience with technical troubleshooting and problem solving.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Pega Certified Business Architect (CPBA).
  • Two or more years in Pega Decisioning or BPM experience.
  • Experience with JIRA or other agile systems.
  • Pega PRPC version 7 or higher, BPM, or UI experience.
  • Previous Verizon systems experience.
  • Certifications: PMP, CPDC, CSSA, CSA, or CPMC.
  • Prior experience in a Telecom, Cable, or Banking/Finance.
  • Fierce curiosity about Pega and Continuous Improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, business communication and writing skills.
  • A good understanding of integration with an enterprise multi-tier application.
