Stryker is seeking to hire an Intern - Technical Business Analyst, Engineering to support Stryker’s Mako Robotic Assisted Surgery Operations in Weston, Florida.

As the Intern - Technical Business Analyst, Engineering you will support the operations team in developing business analytics solutions. You will lead and execute on projects that support the digitalization of the operations processes.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead projects through the concept design, analysis and implementation of projects that provide new or enhanced technology solutions supporting the internal operations/functions of the company.
  • Lead business requirements gathering and liaise with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and signed off prior to development commencement.
  • Champion development of reports/visualizations that are thorough, detailed, and able to be comprehended by intended audiences.
  • Gather and use data and metrics to identify opportunities and drive process improvements.
  • Collaborate in close partnership with business leaders to design, develop, implement, and support applications and technologies.
  • Facilitate development discussions based on detailed functional and technical design specifications with both internal and outsourced teams.
  • Act as a Project Manager on the implementation of projects.
  • Work collaboratively with others to achieve business objectives using communication and diplomacy skills.

What You Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently working on completion of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer​
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and also will be verified during background check in the spring​
  • Strong understanding of Data Analytics and Analytics Tools
  • Possess project management skillset to facilitate and manage projects
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (PowerBi, SQL, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills
  • Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated with excellent initiative and attention to detail
