Business Liaison - Enabling Senior Consultant - Fulltime
The Estimation Business Liaison is a techno-functional role within the Delivery Enablement Estimation Product Team that supports the Offerings in defining and improving their standard estimation solution.
Work you'll do
- Engage with the Offering Estimation Champions to gain in-depth understanding of their estimation priorities and related estimation model.
- Translate high-level business requirements to a detailed feature design, with a strong understanding of the expected customer experience and underlying technology of the Next Gen product.
- Develop new or update existing estimation models (data) based expertise of the Next Gen underlying data structure, application functionality, and with the Offering's insight on effort.
- Work with the offshore development team (app - features) or implement directly (data - estimate model) the Offerings requirements within defined Agile development cycles. This includes progressing features to Definition of Ready, completing testing / reviews to progress to Define of Done, and completing related deployment activities.
- Engage with the Offering Estimation Champions to define creative ways to overcome change management obstacles and support related adoption initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
- Able to think creatively and critically to define sustainable solutions based on strong understanding of business priorities, application functionality, and underlying technology and data structure
- Able to facilitate meetings with an audience of varying levels from Senior Consultant to PPD from the Offering
- Experienced with data analysis and the use of excel and Tableau
- Familiar with data extract, transfer, and load concepts and processes
- Strong understanding of relational databases
- Experienced with offshore development and managing related work
- Strong functional design skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Requirements analysis and gap analysis
- Strong in analyzing the complex business, functional and technical requirements
- Ability to identify gaps in the requirements
- Experience with delivery of full life-cycle technology implementations
- Experienced with Agile delivery
- Experienced with work required to get Features to Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
- Experienced with designing features for custom solutions
- Experienced with writing User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Testing
- Experienced running Design Review sessions and UAT with the business
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
Preferred:
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, multi-task environment
- Ability to work autonomously in a virtual environment
- Ability to develop relationships quickly with senior-level Offering Leads
- Ability to prioritize features based on Offering's needs and support sprint planning
- Industry knowledge and certifications is an added advantage.
