JOB Summary

As a key member of the Chubb Workplace Benefits (CWB) sales team, the Director of Select Channel Development will lead our IMO and GA partner relationships. The role will serve as the liaison between their brokers, clients and internal leaders in our fast-growing CWB sales channel. This position will be responsible for sales pipeline reporting of new and re-enrolling business, overall block management and be a subject matter expert across functional business areas.

This position will be accountable for attainment of key metrics, including block growth, broker and client satisfaction objectives. Success as the Director of Select Channel Development requires strong relationship management, communication, judgment and problem resolution skills to meet the diverse needs of our brokers and client groups.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject-matter expert to internal and external stakeholders by developing and maintaining an advanced understanding of Chubb’s voluntary benefits products, services and operational structure
  • Support initiatives to develop and manage inforce blocks of business
  • Manage annual planning and pipeline reporting for new and re-enrollment business
  • Identify clients with retention risks, develop and execute complex plans to retain
  • Coordinate quarterly and semi-annual block reporting
  • Conduct product training for key agencies, brokers or enrollment firms
  • Act as the liaison for brokers, clients and internal supporting functions to identify challenges and bridge relationships between IMO, broker and home office partners to resolve issues
  • Act as the liaison for assigned IMO, GA relationships and Case Underwriting to support quote development
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on processes, procedures, proposals, marketing and promotional materials
  • Oversee the RFP response development, competitive positioning, renewal / re-enrollment plans, enrollment strategies and other key subject areas as requested
  • Performs other duties as requested
