To achieve those goals, the VBG Strategy team works cross-functionally with business unit leaders, other corporate stakeholders (i.e. Finance, Network, Product, Corporate Development, etc.), and external constituents to generate near, mid, and long-term growth strategies.

In this role, you will rely on your quantitative, qualitative, executive leadership, and innovative thinking skills to lead VBG’s governance activities, as well as develop strategic recommendations to drive growth and profitability for the business. The portfolio of work spans across all of VBG’s go-to-market units: Global Enterprise, Small and Medium Business, Public Sector, and Wholesale.

  • Assess industry and customer trends.
  • Identify opportunities and gaps across all of VBG’s segments.
  • Develop business cases for new products, use cases, and other opportunities.
  • Develop analytical methodologies to answer strategic questions and solve problems.
  • Synthesize complex ideas into simple concepts to effectively communicate with senior leaders.
  • Evaluate the competitive landscape and the broader ecosystem, not only for benchmarking purposes, but also for acquisitions, investments, divestitures, and partnership opportunities.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager. This role can be located in other valid Verizon locations.

What we’re looking for...
