What you’ll be doing...

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Application Development to work in our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. The SRE team is responsible for managing data center infrastructures, databases, monitoring of applications providing Tier 1 support and tools for automation. In this role you will be managing a team of employees and contractors to deliver a high-quality software platform for automation to enable operational excellence. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Creating a platform using reusable components.
  • Creating functions focused on self-service and automation.
  • Creating and using standards for monitoring.
  • Use New relic based monitoring and alert management.
  • Use data analytics and AI for root cause correlation using different source of data.
  • Enforce/measure standards for all areas in data center, database and other related business processes.
  • Use a data driven approach to measure success.

Where you'll be working…

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree of four or more years of experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience guiding a team of software engineers.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD, public cloud, and kubernetes platforms.
  • Experience driving a team using performance data.
  • Experience creating, managing, and communicating product roadmaps.
  • Experience in object oriented programming.
  • Experience in database technologies.
  • Experience in the fundamentals program management.
