What you’ll be doing...

We’re looking for someone with strong business acumen who can mine, interpret and translate data into impactful insights and explain the “why” behind customer and revenue trends, highlight opportunities to maintain growth, and identify risks and course correction recommendations. You will be required to apply these skills across a wide range of strategic, highly visible initiatives that include revenue, churn, billing, and pricing, Manager will collaborate with technical, finance, and marketing stakeholders and incorporate different KPIs and ad-hoc analysis to deliver impactful and relevant insights to these business partners. Furthermore, you should be comfortable executing the analysis and putting forth recommendations based on the derived insights.

  • Interpret data/business trends; translate them into findings; and present the findings in concise, easily digestible data-driven insights to business sponsors and senior executives.
  • Drive product-related insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor customer, channel, and competitive trends to put results and insights in a proper context.
  • Build strong collaborations with our business partners (e.g., marketing, finance, BI COE, etc.) to prioritize and align on work efforts, deliverables, and how our analyses will be delivered.
  • Sponsor /Advocate the adoption of digital tools to optimize how we work and to drive self-serve.
  • Communicate with stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Advocate self-serve adoption and drive the expansion of visualization tools, e.g. via ThoughtSpot and Tableau.
  • Cultivate strong collaborations with business, CRM, technical partners, and senior staff; and to mentor/lead team members on analysis, visualization, and presentation skills.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics/Business Intelligence, Finance, Statistics, or related field or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience investigating and solving complex problems and data discrepancies.
  • Knowledge of DW data domains; and able to extract data using queries (SQL)
  • Visualization/storyboarding skills to present insights and recommendations in concise, consumable narratives.
  • This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Knowledge of DW data domains; and able to extract data using queries (SQL, Alteryx, R, Python)
  • Experience in Microsoft and/or Google Suites of products, e.g. PowerPoint, Slides, Excel, Sheets, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver multiple complex projects against key deliverables and timelines.
  • Strategic thinker who is comfortable working both independently and in a team setting.
  • Capable of balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and set expectations across various functional teams; and across all levels within the organization.
  • Familiarity with data visualization software, such as Tableau, QLIK and ThoughtSpot.
  • Business Intelligence Certification (CPBI).
