What you’ll be doing...

As the Business Intelligence UI/UX dashboard designer, with your UI analytical, Dashboard Designing expertise, you will deliver business value through rich UI Dashboards and data analytics by driving insights to actions. One way you will accomplish this is by developing analytical dashboards by using Qlik Sense, ThoughtSpot and other BI visualization tools and implementing Industry best practices. The design thinking and user experience recommendations you provide will help users to make informed decisions.

  • You will act as a business enablement catalyst across multifunctional teams and be responsible for building innovative design solutions by performing comprehensive data analysis using cutting-edge data visualizations and advanced analytics.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams to identify critical items required from a visualization perspective.
  • Perform thorough data analysis, uncover opportunities, address business problems, interpret business requests and translate that into Story boding capabilities.
  • Prepare concise, comprehensive, and level-appropriate Dashboards and presentations in Qlik Sense, ThoughtSpot and other BI visualization tools.
  • Optimizing dashboards by implementing industry standards and best practices.
  • Document and demonstrate UI design solutions by developing wireframes, production documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and models.
  • Review existing visualizations to assess opportunities for improvement within the business and to drive a best-in-class interactive user Interface solution.
  • Summarize, group, and visualize data sets and information for management and executive review utilizing Digital tools.
  • Leverage data visualization toolsets to provide single-source data availability to multiple user communities.
  • Continue to identify opportunities to enhance data analysis, reporting efficiency, and methodology.

Where you’ll be working:

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or other Quantitative Fields or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Qlik Sense and Thoughtspot , data modeling and dashboard design concepts.
  • Experience with UI/UX design principles, wireframes and storyboards.
  • Certified in Qlik Sense Data Architect and Qlik Sense Business Analyst.
  • Experience developing best-in-class Visualization and self-serve analytical using Qlik Sense that adhere to industry design standards.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
  • Experience with design and implementation of ETL framework for complex data platforms using KNIME or Alteryx.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience building E2E scalable mid to large size business intelligence (BI) solutions (data sets, queries, reports, dashboards, analyses – or components of larger solutions to answer business questions with data).
  • Experience handling large volumes of data across multiple platforms including traditional (Teradata, Oracle) and Cloud-Based (Google Cloud, AWS) for scalable and efficient BI solutions.
  • Experience investigating and solving complex technical problems and data discrepancies.
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence systems to provide diagnostic self-serve information to clients and business units.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to develop solutions that align tactical solutions with strategic goals.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate cross functional teams of managers and directors to gain consensus and execute to deliver results.
  • Experience in process and requirements documentation.
  • Knowledge of analytics platforms and augmented intelligence platforms.
  • Ability to work without close supervision and can communicate and manage priorities effectively to meet deliverables.
