Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• Support product owners/scrum master to design and develop software solutions and assist in managing the product backlog
• Support product owners/scrum master with the management of their development team's staff, including assignment of work items.
• Support the creation, review and approval of software development specifications, projects, proposals, methods and schedules
• Support the development, testing, debugging and implementation of software programs, applications and projects
• Advise staff members on technical issues including specifying proper software designs and use of existing facilities to solve common problems
• Monitor progress across a variety of initiatives and work packages
• Provide inputs to the testing strategy and test plans for team's product.

Qualifications

Required

• Retail/partnership card product experience
• Project management and resource oversight

• Large-scale retail partnership credit card portfolio conversion, including end-to-end activities such as data analysis/mapping, mock testing, cutover execution, and post-cutover warranty/transition activities
• Conversion initiative for this project is part of broader partnership stand-up effort, including new product design/development/configuration/testing and launch activities
• Conversion initiative also includes interaction with third parties such as core processor and selling bank issuer
• Card/payments sector and technology experience, including specific TSYS platform knowledge
• Customer account and portfolio conversion experience
• Client management and cross-functional collaboration experience
• Work within Deloitte client engagement team to serve financial services clients in planning and delivering credit card transformation initiatives, including account and data conversion initiatives
• Interact directly with end clients as part of collaborative planning and delivery effort.
• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• Limited Sponsorship: Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Lead and manage individual resources and/or small pods/sub-teams within broader engagements where applicable. Travel up to 25% (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice).
