PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

As the Business Systems Specialist for the EAM team, specializing in Supply Chain and Procurement, you will work with our business partners to understand their end to end business processes, to design and implement successful IS solutions that; are intuitive, meet the business needs, reduce waste from the value stream, and align with the overall company strategic goals.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop an understanding of current IS applications at CP for Supply Chain and Procurement;
  • Maintain and support existing CP applications (SAP ECC 6.0, SAP Ariba suite, future S4 HANA);
  • Work with business clients to understand requirements and establish recommendations for improvement;
  • Design and implement sustainable solutions and enhancements based on best business practices and alignment to IS architectural standards;
  • Provide deep domain knowledge in the area of Procurement and Supply Chain solutions;
  • Understand the end to end business process and integration points for Source-to-Pay and how technology can be leveraged to increase business effectiveness and efficiencies;
  • Liaison between IS technical, functional, architecture and business teams;
  • Work with IS PMO and IS Change Management teams to configure, test and document system improvements in alignment with project delivery standards;

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree or equivalent in Commerce/Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science;
  • Minimum 10 years of IT experience, predominantly in SAP operations support and project delivery
  • Significant implementation and support experience in SAP Materials Management (Purchasing, IM) and integration to other SAP modules (PM, PP, QM, etc.)
  • A minimum of four-year experience in configuring, implementing and maintaining SAP Ariba solutions (Sourcing, B&I, Catalog, Invoice Management, ECC or S/4 integration, etc.)
  • Ideally 3 or more full project implementation lifecycles with SAP implementations;
  • Strong familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies, including ASAP and Agile like approaches;
  • Some technical experience in ABAP programming/debugging, LSMW, Fiori development, reporting tools is preferred
