In this position, you will be part of a highly talented, award-winning Silicon Valley team focused on developing cutting edge artificial intelligence (AI) and computer vision-based medical technologies for the operating room and hospitals. The Stryker AI team comprises industry visionaries, scientists and engineers dedicated to developing technologies that change the way care is provided in the operating room, and you should be one of them. You will join a team that brought one of the first AI-driven medical devices to the operating room ***the Triton Blood Loss app*** and spawned an entirely new type of AI-enabled FDA-cleared medical device. You will help us with many new innovations in the works that need skilled, creative, and inventive people to make them a reality.

What You Will Do

Technical Responsibilities:

  • You will build and maintain scalable mobile test automation frameworks and supporting infrastructure for Mobile Native
  • You will be responsible for all automation and performance testing activities - planning, script design, test script generation / maintenance, performance test execution, report generation, results analysis, defect generation and following up for closure.
  • You will drive continual improvement of the automation and performance testing process at the team level.
  • You will contribute to developing and enhancing the automation framework as well as keeping it up to date with changes in functionality
  • You will apply performance testing tools and technologies to support the testing process and framework across an integrated Agile software development lifecycle.
  • You will participate in peer reviews of Test Engineers’ test designs and is self-directed in test case design, execution, results analysis and defect reporting.
  • You will interact with the QA team, Developers and others for manual and automation test planning and implementation.
  • You will make technology choices at individual level and has ability to analyze impact.
  • You will integrate project testing with our continuous-integration process.
  • You will develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
  • You will drive cross-team software troubleshooting and fix resolution.
  • You will report issues through a formal bug tracking system and work with the engineering team to help isolate, debug, and resolve issues/bugs.
  • You will produce and maintain useful and usable documentation of work including Test reports and metrics.

What You Need (Required):

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science or related discipline
  • 6+ years of related work experience
  • 4+ years of experience developing and executing automated test cases for backend and web services
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages


What We Would Love That You Have (Strongly desired):

Technical Skills:

  • Familiar with testing Azure and/or AWS based backend
  • Proficient with SQL and C#
  • Experience with REST APIs testing
  • Experience with at least one scripting language - VBScript, Pearl, Python, or Shell
  • Familiar with automation tools and frameworks such as Postman and Selenium
  • Experience with performance testing
  • Experience with using Visual Studio IDE
  • Experience with CI/CD

Software Process Skills:

  • Collaboratively influence the Software Development Life Cycle processes changes and best practices
  • Knowledge of working in an FDA regulated environment
  • Experience with Medical device testing
  • Regulatory and compliance standards applied to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
