KEY OBJECTIVE:
Independently provide technical Underwriting and administrative support for assigned Accounts while adhering to published National service standards.
Lines of coverage: EL/GL/AL/ Property
Program Structures: Advantage, CMP & Local Policies
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create renewal solicitation letters per UW request and in conjunction with Underwriter
- Perform Clearances, Pull AM Best information & DNBi
- Prepare Stewardship PowerPoint – Upon Request
- Prepare Renewal Roadmaps for renewal
- Review the Loss Runs for any open claims; If open claims email UW a copy of the loss runs, note the open claims and contact Claims Services for status and cc UW. Send Loss Runs to broker.
- Ogden Rating Model- upon request
- Pull Swiss Re CAT Net reports and COPE- Upon request
- Create request to obtain local Quote from Global Services -upon request
- Review Implementation instructions that Global Services sends to local countries to ensure in keeping with binder.
- Submit all booking/issuance requests in Work Queue for Advantage, CMP & Local policies
- Review Worldview for outstanding local policies or issues on local policies
- Review issued policies and forms upon receipt for accuracy for Advantage & CMP & Local policies. Alert UW of discrepancies. Interface with processing centers to ensure all questions addressed to ensure proper quality work product.
- Submit endorsements in Work Queue – Upon Request
- Update Tracker system with Account status (i.e. cleared/quoted/bound)
- Offsite Storage Coordination/ Iron Mountain handling.
- Maintain service standards for all above transactions; by timely response to broker requests and timely receipt of underwriting information.
- Communicate with all levels of employees to include, but not limited to, producers and internal personnel to confirm or obtain data needed for policy issuance and servicing.
- Properly document all files in Work View Folder within established due dates. Pull Home Office Referrals for File from The HUB and document in Work View- at UW request
- Ability to effectively manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Provides Training Support to the Underwriting Team on Select .
- Handles special projects at direction of Leader.
- Beginner Level understanding of insurance terminology and utilization of various systems (example: Reference Connect, NCCI, ISO, and IRMI).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of insurance experience preferably in a National or Commercial account setting;
- Strong data entry and Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, Word, & Outlook.
