What you’ll be doing...

This team, within the VCG Platforms & Ecosystem group, is uniquely positioned, owning platform capabilities and future direction of Identity, Authentication, Consent Management, and the Verizon Privacy Dashboard across the consumer group. There is growing demand in the marketplace for better transparency and control of data by consumers and governments. You will be responsible for working across Verizon’s “data sharing” products and business models to chart a unified vision, strategy and roadmap that meets immediate business needs while setting Verizon up for the future.

As a Product Manager, you are passionate about delivering a delightful and valuable experience to consumers; becoming the internal voice for your products, you collaborate with Customer Experience/UX/UI and engineering to ensure alignment and that the core value proposition is reflected in the output.

  • Manage the product strategy and future roadmap for the Verizon Privacy dashboard.
  • Help Verizon adapt to that future to maximize both business opportunities and consumer trust.
  • Prioritize different initiatives, develop and align on common goals and roadmaps with key CX, Legal, and Engineering stakeholders as part of strategy alignment and prioritization.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Effectively socialize and be an ambassador for your product and experience.
  • Write business cases to support the product roadmap.
  • Product support, testing and cross-functional communication.
  • Ownership Mentality, and New Ideas; follow current industry trends, competitive activity in the marketplace.
  • User experience interviews and testing to gather continuous customer insights.

What we’re looking for...

You’re the type of person who sees the big picture and looks to make the biggest impact possible. You have an entrepreneurial orientation and are very curious and knowledgeable about the marketplace for consumer data. You’re comfortable working and communicating with all types of people (both verbal and written). You know how to translate the benefits of technology into easy to understand business language. You are flexible and resourceful with a figure-it-out and get-it-done attitude. You are able to quickly react to newly presented information and adjust course and sees ambiguity as an opportunity to shape the future.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master’s degree ideally MBA.
  • Consumer product management experience (B2C) in the software application space.
  • Business acumen with ability to execute and deliver new products and services by working closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Network, Legal, IT, Finance and Customer Care).
  • Ability to multitask on several products and programs with little supervision.
  • Ability to develop and present executive level presentations.

Where you’ll be working:

  • This hybrid position will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager; the role can be located in other valid Verizon domestic locations.
