This is a position within our Predictive Business and Risk Analytics group in Commercial Insights and Analytics (in BIA), which will help to drive innovation in customer engagement by supporting the deployment and execution of our digital customer activation model. This role be responsible for implementing an end-to-end, digitally enabled learning model (Analytical Insights Engine – AIE) rooted in customer insights and guiding customer engagement across functions and channels. The individual for this role will need to manage the launch of AIE models across multiple markets, align teams on metrics for success, and measure model impact to adjust criteria as needed.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Leading the development, maintenance and enhancement of Next Best Action solution for BMS
  • Be responsible to bring together various offerings within the team to support the brand in a simple yet effective way
  • Define and develop the analytical approach to the model based on brand strategic imperatives, omni-channel capabilities, field force applicability and deployment, and data and technical infrastructure
  • Manage financial aspects related to the scaling of the program
  • Coordinate the roll-out process of the models w/ internal and external cross-functional teams through weekly engagements
  • Be responsible for measurement of the program via tracking field force adoption and execution of model suggestions and soliciting field feedback on an ongoing basis, measure how acted upon model suggestions impact customer omni-channel engagement and drive sales lift analysis via sound Test & Control approach on a periodic basis
  • Employ disruptive thinking to drive enhancements to improve value to the business and our patients through deepened market understanding, streamlined business engagement and practically applied, data driven analytics
  • Be able to translate the complexity of the models in business language to make the insights understood better and drive the use of these models further
  • Provides support in development of materials for various core and co-ordination meetings
  • Be responsible for providing updates about the status of the program to senior leadership via clean and crisp presentation
  • Partners with the team lead to identify ways to scale existing solutions more efficiently within the commercial enterprise
  • Partners with the team lead to monitor the external, Commercial Analytics landscape, identifying and applying new capabilities in support of continuous BIA evolution and business performance

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience within analytics strategy, development and execution
  • 3+ of direct leadership experience
  • BA/BS required (quantitative area of study preferred)
  • MBA/other graduate degree preferred

Experience

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and programs
  • In-depth understanding of applied analytics and statistics (e.g., data analysis, multivariate statistics, predictive modeling, AI/ML approaches)
  • Extensive proficiency with Python/R, SQL and visualization platforms
  • Ability to draw inferences from disparate pieces of data, identify and frame key analytics, and link to business implications providing recommendations in a business-friendly format
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Superior knowledge of secondary healthcare data
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage a heavy, multi-disciplinary workload
  • Experience and knowledge of data security and privacy issues for a global company
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced global environment with multiple competing priorities
