What You will do:

  • Represent service operations in cross functional programs, provide direction and observations on internal customer objectives as they involve service operations.
  • Use Systems engineering principles as it applies to medical device development from concept phase to final design and commercial release
  • Create and refine process specifications and standards definition.
  • Developing test protocols/procedures, collecting and analyzing data, and creating detailed reports & implement complex concepts
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of new technologies
  • Integrate processes and standards for new product and business functions
  • Independently Integrate and administer development tools including required validation
  • Support training and mentoring activities regarding established engineering best practices, maintenance, improvement, design principles, architectural concepts, processes, and tools
  • Work with core team to determine project schedules and time commitments of self and other functional project team members and be able to clearly communicate status of assignments to project management.
  • Investigate novel problems & Design and implement solutions to address identified problems
  • Work under supervision with surgeon customers in a user setting, clearly communicate design goals and incorporate feedback into designs
  • Participate in, solicit feedback and document reports as needed on cadaveric evaluations
  • Identify plan, manage, and implement continuous improvements for the Commercial Organization. Including but not limited to repair expansion, global expansion, cost/time saving opportunity, improved customer experience, etc.

What you will need:

  • Be detail oriented with strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Use of Software Tools preferably MS Suite (i.e., MiniTab, MathLab, Excel, etc) for statistical and business analysis.
  • Experience with PCB designing, circuitry or actuator preferred
  • Knowledge or experience on use of risk management practices applied to medical device development preferred
  • Subject matter expert for Commercial Support group (Depot Service, Customer Service, Field Service, etc) on any matters regarding business processes, repair/technical procedures, new product development, and the RIO Robotic System & Associated Instrumentation preferred
