Primary Role
Responsible for operating and maintaining the water production and distribution system.
Key Accountabilities
- Reads meters.
- Performs meter change outs.
- Upload/Downloads meter routes.
- Performs leak detection.
- Performs emergency shut off/ons
- Performs light or routine maintenance when needed.
Knowledge/Skills
- Must have mechanical knowledge.
Experience/Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Less than 1 year experience
Other
- Must have the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Computer literacy required. Ability to pay attention to detail. Must have mechanical knowledge. Ability to earn water certification.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to earn water certification.
