SAP Global Trade Service Functional Consultant - PDS

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

The SAP GTS functional Expert will support a variety of activities related to SAP GTS. This individual would be responsible for providing high quality solution designs, configuration, testing, implementations, customer support, troubleshooting, and other overall sustaining support activities.

This individual should be familiar with SAP GTS 11.0 and be proficient within the Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management modules of GTS. This highly integrated system includes integrations to multiple ECC environments, OCR Ease, Custom Brokers, and AES. This individual should be capable of working directly with the customer, outside vendors, and other technical teams in order to provide sustaining support and solutions. This person would work as part of the International Trade Compliance System team.

The Team

Our SAP team focuses on design, implementation, and on-going operations and maintenance of SAP applications and technology. Professionals will have hands-on access and exposure to the latest technologies and thought leaders.

Applications include SAP S/4HANA and Cloud (Hybris, Ariba, IBP, SuccessFactors, and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud) across the following capabilities:

• Finance
• Supply Chain
• Customer and Sales Operations
• Technology (Mobility and User Experience, Cloud and Virtualization, Data Management and Analytics)

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Strong understanding and implementation experience using the scaled Agile framework (SAFe) methodology.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, customer support environment and with all levels of the organization.
• Experience with SAP GTS 11.0.
• Knowledge in Custom and Compliance Management.
• Knowledge of Risk Management.
• Proficiency with electronic filing with AES.
• Skill with Customs broker integration.
• Involvement with Restricted Party Screening.
• Working knowledge of the ABAP development process.
• Familiarity with cyber security and NIST controls that support maintaining the Authorization To Operate (ATO).
• Working knowledge of SAP DIMP in an Aerospace and Defense setting.
• Working knowledge of test driven development (TDD).
• Workflow skills desired.
• Debugging skills desired.
• Travel up to 10% annually.
