The Department of Children and Families (DCF), Office of Education seeks a qualified Consultant, Curriculum & Instruction 2. This position performs duties to develop educational programs; identify educational and training goals and objectives; instruct staff on policies and procedures; and consult with staff members for identification of staffing or operational needs. This position is primarily located in Trenton, NJ. Travel to multiple counties will be required to perform the duties of the position.
Please note that the Office of Education and the schools within OOE have a 12-month school year.
This position may be eligible to work remotely for up to two days in a calendar week.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of experience involving the development of educational programs is required.
SPECIAL NOTE: Possession of a New Jersey educational services certificate issued by the New Jersey State Department of Education as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant is required.
SUBSTITUTIONS: A Master's degree in Education or related fields, as determined by the appointing authority, may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience.

SALARY: $72,836.90 – $103.620.41
