Job Summary

Come join the Amentum team that’s helping build and sustain America’s US Navy submarines! Work in/near the Washington Navy Yard in Washington DC to support COLUMBIA class submarine Manpower, Personnel, and Training (MPT) programs. Position activities include:

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of MPT submarine acquisition program office reporting requirements
  • Provide MPT analysis and guidance to the government MPT Lead and the COLUMBIA Product Support Manager
  • Review MPT analyses and reports, draft responses, and advise the MPT Lead on findings
  • Assess impacts of MPT plans and policy on crews and the submarine sustainment enterprise
  • Lead meetings; approve agendas, minutes, notifications, and information packages, and tracking action and decision items
  • Process MPT products developed by the submarine builder for compliance with Navy policy, applicable Ship Specifications, and Product Support Plans
  • Liaise with the submarine builder, Navy training commands and submarine program offices, and field support activities to develop MPT strategies, identify and process risks, and implement plans
  • Attend and contribute to COLUMBIA Process Integration Meetings (PITs), program reviews, and bi-weekly Logistics Group meetings
  • Position may have supervisory responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 11+ years of supervisory experience in manpower analyses, information systems, and implementation of ACAT1 acquisition logistics projects or equivalent experience
  • US citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master Training Specialist Certification
  • Navy or Coast Guard training experience
