Job Summary:

ADM is seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of our software systems through the implementation of DevSecOps practices and the administration of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and automate deployment processes.
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans on applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments to identify and remediate security risks.
  • Configure and manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) to ensure security and scalability.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, security threats, and industry trends, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevSecOps, system administration, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, version control, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of security principles, standards, and best practices, with a focus on securing software applications and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a higly technical team environment.
  • Must be a Green Card holder or US Citizen who can obtain Public Trust Clearance.
