As an experienced Oracle Apps DBA you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Consider an opportunity with our US Delivery Center - we are breaking the mold of a typical Delivery Center. In this role, you will serve as a full-time Oracle Apps Database Administrator (DBA) for a large, complex Department of Defense project. The project will include a variou workstream related to Program Management, Governance, Business/Functional Capabilities documentation and review; Process Flow development, data mapping, data migration, interfaces, identify and access management, testing, training, stakeholder management, change management, and system infrastructure and hosting.

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Training and mentoring DBA team members
  • Creating and monitoring Oracle's (Service Request) SR escalation process
  • Managing and maintaining multiple RDBMS instances for Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) Federal Financial applications R12.2x
  • Assessing infrastructure and hosting requirements and recommending enhancements
  • Monitoring system availability and responding to unplanned events
  • Executing the processes and activities for solution backup, recovery, refresh/cloning, performance tuning, and security (physical and data)
  • Installing and verifying Oracle application, security and system patches to the EBS applications and databases on a quarterly basis.
  • Supporting and performing capacity planning, Disaster Recovery, testing etc.
  • Performing software application and database upgrades; cloning; patching; monitoring and tuning the Production and Non-Production environments.
  • Troubleshooting advanced functional, technical and integration issues.

Qualifications Required
  • US Citizenship required
  • Secret Clearance required
  • Comptia Security+ certification required
  • Ability to apply patches and clone enviroments is required
  • Experience administering Oracle Identity and Access Manager (IAM) for SIngle Sign-On (SSO)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must be willing to live and work in the Lake Mary, FL; Gilbert, AZ; or Mechanicsburg, PA area.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Travel up to 10% annually
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $58,000 to $112,000.
  • For AIP-eligible roles include: You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
