Job Description
For our Facility Management Department in Oss (The Netherlands), which is part of Facility & Engineering, we are currently looking for a:
Asset Specialist Electricity
The Facility & Engineering department is responsible for the technical maintenance and management of installations in the factories such as steam and electrical installations. Facility & Engineering is also responsible for the organisation of the joint soft services at the location, such as security and hospitality. Finally, Facility & Engineering is responsible for the project-based realization of all major changes and expansions on the site.
Goal:
Optimization of the performance and reliability of the designated assets within Facility Management (FM), against optimal life cycle costs. Initiate and enable improvements for the FM assets. Maintain asset related documents (e.g. commissioning and as-build documentation) up-to-date and compliant to GxP & EHS requirements.
Responsibilities
Collect monitoring data and perform trending on performance, reliability and costs
Write monitoring protocols, reports (e.g. REM) and ensure execution of the monitoring, analyze, make recommendations for improvement
Train and instruct IFM-provider personnel by the execution of asset support related activities, develop standardized work
Obtain and maintain knowledge of the designated assets with regards to set up, capacity, energy usage etc. of the systems in all building where applicable.
Maintain technical standards on the asset’ s topic
Continuous improvement (Capex projects)
Write problem solving or proposal A3’s for FM related processes to improve performance (compliance, financial, robustness) of complex (automated) assets
Write approval documents / business cases for CAPEX projects
Lead Capex and other improvement projects for FM
Develop standardized work methods to maintain the designated assets
Train and instruct IFM personnel when implementing new or modified FM-assets
Write or modify SOP’s/ WI’s for FM
Commissioning
Responsible for maintaining commissioned status of the designated equipment, installations and utilities of FM
Draft commissioning protocols and ensure execution of the commissioning in close cooperation with the IFM partners and Project teams
Draft qualification documents for installation changes and ensure change control procedures
Report and ensure approval of documents
Collect calibration, corrective- and preventive maintenance data to recommission assets if applicable
Ensure documentation is up-to-date
New or improved designated FM assets
FM representative in project teams
Write or review user requirement documents for assets
Write or review commissioning documents for installation changes
Change control
Change owner for technical changes
Deviation control/ Problem Solving
Asses asset related deviations applying problem solving tools and Root Cause analysis
Act as team leader in RCA
Initiate or take necessary actions to follow-up on deviations (Tier 2 action responsibility)
Propose corrective and preventive actions
Enter relevant information in the deviation control system (QSAT) when applicable
Tier processes
Participate in the Meeings of the IFM Maintenance team regarding the designated assets
Replace the FM-lead during absence in meetings
Develop visuals and maintain KPI’s for the Tier boards
GMP, EHS
Participate as engineer in (site) projects to improve EHS or GxP practices
SME in safety studies for hazardous processes in the IPT/ CoE
Comply with GxP and EHS requirements
Participate in (external) audits or inspections
Monitor CE status of systems
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
Engineering degree at HBO+/academic in the field of the designated assets
In depth knowledge of designated assets
Proven ability to manage projects
Certified MPS Greenbelt
Passion for Lean and continuous improvement
Excellent communication skills: with shop floor and construction/project management;
Fluent in both English and Dutch language, both spoken and written;
Good balance between short term priorities and long-term process improvements;
At least 3 years of relevant experience in the field of the designated assets
