Inventory Control Specialist

Short Description

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for supporting Herc Rentals’ branch locations with inventory management.

You will…

• Provide monthly reporting for financials.
• Assist with annual and periodic physical counts.
• Support acquired locations with initial inventory integration, including assisting with disposal of obsolete inventory, bin locating, and other such duties.
• Partner with vendors, including SmartEquip.

Responsibilities

• Review Qlik reporting daily.
• Provide monthly financial reports.
• Assist in daily inventory management by supporting the branches.
• Assist in annual and periodic physical inventory counts.
• Assist with inventory integration for acquired locations, including SmartEquip setup.
• Assist with new branch setup tasks, including SmartEquip setup, special vendor setups.
• Assist with parts expedite orders, initial requests, follow-ups, clean-up.
• Assist with branch relocations, location number changes.
• Inform vendors, changes tracked.
• Open Orders – contact vendors with address changes.
• Inventory Transfers
• Support Item Setup Team
• Support Project Evolution
