The position

For our office in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Associate Specialist Demand Fulfillment Specialist to replace a founder during their Maternity Leave (6-month contract).

Do you want to play a crucial role within Demand Management & Fulfillment in the EEMEA region? DM&F Team is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist who will be responsible for order management and demand planning, monitoring production and related services, inventory position and continuing our good relationship with customers, as well as our other stakeholders within Supply Chain Management, Quality, Finance, Manufacturing, Regulatory and Commercial.

The DM&F team is an important part of the Supply Chain Organization. You will be working in an international diverse team of 8 Specialists and a Manager. It oversees the downstream part of the supply chain, from packaging sites to 3PL distribution center. We are expecting from you to provide services to accommodate our customers in the best possible way.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring timely receipt and correct processing of forecasts and orders from customers.

• Act as a primary contact for customer relations to all supply and demand topics and escalations.

• Building relationships with the customers and the internal stakeholders.

• Monitor and resolve escalated supply issues via effective coordination and cooperation with planning teams, sites, and customers.

• Taking care of and improving standard reporting (e.g., metrics regarding demand, supply, master data, and inventory) for all stakeholders.

• Participating in customer meetings and contributing to the Sales and Operations planning process.

• Supporting projects or activities that improve S&OP performance and customer service.

• Serving as a backup of DM&F Associate Specialist, DM&F Specialist and/or (possibly) DM&F Senior Specialist.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor or master’s degree with 3 or more years of work experience in a related business area (Supply Chain, Customer Service, Logistics, Demand Planning, or equivalent)

• Comprehensive computer literacy Microsoft Office and ERP systems. (Excel and SAP knowledge must)

• Good understanding of stakeholder management, teamwork, and collaboration.

• Solid analytical skills for independent problem-solving with attention to detail.

• Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills

• Demand Planning experience is a plus.
