Start your journey now!Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIBM Z Hardware Client Technical Sales Specialists at the Advanced Technology Group (ATG) are technical consultants to clients, IBM sales teams and/or Business Partners. They understand the client's business and technical requirements and competitive landscape. They provide technical sales support, including collaborating with IBM sales teams to define, design and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions; assist with developing and maintaining workshops for Proof of Concept/Proof of Technology; develop and deliver technical education; support critical situations; and answer technical questions. ATG specialists also work closely with IBM Z Development to build collateral and pre-announce material for IBM Z systems.Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ Minimum of 5 years of IBM Z technical experience focused on hardware sales and/or hardware configuration+ Overall knowledge and understanding of IBM Z processor design, available I/O adapters, and IBM Z physical planning aspects+ Basic knowledge of TSO/ISPF, z/OS configuration, hardware definitions (HCD/IOCP), PR/SM, IBM Z HMC/SE and IBM Z peripheral devices.+ Ability to learn new IBM Z features/functions and conceptualize, design and generate collateral in the form of presentation decks and technical writing.+ Exceptional written and oral communications skills:-- experience in public speaking and leading presentations-- ability to learn new IBM Z features/functions and have the ability to turn that into consumable material+ Willingness to work with minimal supervision and while completing projects on time+ Fluent in EnglishPreferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseNoneNoneAbout Business UnitIBM has a global presence, operating in more than 175 countries with a broad-based geographic distribution of revenue.
