Software Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Summary
Amentum is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Norfolk, VA team.
The successful candidate will:
- Support the software development life cycle of a medium-to-large scale project
- Support the creation, modification, and running of test plans/cases to certify system functionality and/or changes
- Assist with configuration management tasks of test plans/cases, document control
- Coordination of requirement changes on projects as required
Minimum Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work exp.) and 2-4 years of job-related experience working on and supporting software application testing.
- Ability to understand and review technical specifications and documentation to implement test programs and processes to be certified.
- Ability to implement and lead processes to create, modify, and run test plans/cases to certify system functionality and/or changes.
- Ability to generate and report various testing artifacts in support of developmental and stakeholder needs.
- Ability to support direct configuration management tasks (test plans/cases, source code control, coordination of requirement changes) on projects as required.
- Thorough knowledge of testing processes and types (“Box” Approaches, Testing Levels, Testing Types) as well as related web application testing tools.
- Ability to develop and implement documentation of procedures, application reference materials, workflows and business processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manage workflow and interface work items with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
- Ability to write trace-ability matrices and test reports
- Experience with Microsoft Test Manager
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
- Security+ Certification
- Active security clearance
