Job Summary

Amentum is searching for a Program Management Analyst to join our collaborative team of seven professionals, providing support to the Navy's Submarine Acoustic Systems Program Office. This position will be in direct support of the Submarine Towed Array Systems Chief Engineer and located at 300 M St SE, Wash, DC 20003 as well as virtual.

The Program Management Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Drafting, coordinating, and finalizing briefing material, reports, correspondence, and schedules
  • Coordinating, scheduling, and attending technical and programmatic meetings; generating agendas, supporting materials, minutes, summaries, and actions
  • Coordinating and reviewing Small Business Innovation Research Contract Data Requirements List data deliverables
  • Researching content for and drafting Weekly and Monthly Activity Reports
  • Assisting Chief Engineer with administering annual Navy field activity task book development
  • Interfacing with program office personnel, Navy field activity personnel, and contractors in acquisition, engineering, and logistics functional areas for action status, issue resolution, and planning
  • Supporting quality improvements
  • Assisting the Chief Engineer with classified safe inventory management

Minimum Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • An active Government Security Clearance at the SECRET level
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field and 7 years of job-related experience, or equivalent
  • Strong written communication skills - writing sample may be requested
  • Proofing and editing proficiency and excellent attention to detail
  • Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work
  • Ability to solicit and coordinate input across functional areas, as well as to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Position may require 15-25% travel in the future

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with PEOSUB programs
  • Ability to coordinate task completion with Warfare Center partners
  • Program Management support experience
  • Technical writing proficiency
