PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To assist and support both the Disability Management and WCB Specialists through the management of various metrics reports and in the performance of file management tasks. Provide overall support to the Disability Management system components.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Interpreting and analyzing relevant data to identify problem areas and prepare strategic dashboards and reports for company leadership to assist in their decision-making;
  • Assist in the design and continuous improvement of CP’s Disability Management tracking system to meet broad risk management objectives, obligations and internal cross-functional needs;
  • Generating regular and ad-hoc reports on a variety of KPI’s;
  • Research, source, document and prepare reports to be used for both Disability Management and WCB purposes;
  • Administrative tasks including but not limited to:
    • Managing incoming and outgoing mail;
    • Filing and labelling incoming documents;
    • Completion of paperwork as assigned;
    • Process incoming physician invoicing for all regions;
    • Assist in the processing of incoming WCB invoicing for all regions;
    • Interact with CP’s Benefits team and provide support as needed;
    • Interact with Management and other stakeholders as required;
    • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • A university degree or college diploma;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite with strong knowledge of Excel;
  • Experience in developing, analyzing and reporting metrics;
  • Ability to form solid work relationships;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Strong knowledge of SAP would be considered an asset;
  • A Strong knowledge of disability management practices for both occupation and non-occupation situations would be considered an asset;
  • The ability to work in a fast paced work environment;
  • Previous case management experience in either group insurance or workers’ compensation board is considered an asset;
  • French language skills are considered an asset.

Management Conductor Program:
