What You Will Do

  • Reports on key financial performance measures to senior management on a monthly and quarterly basis, under the supervision of a Director, Finance.
  • Participates in monthly and yearly closing process including journal entry preparation and review.
  • Oversee and manage capital expense request process including review of all CERs for analytical accuracy, proper documentation and proper approval levels.
  • Close involvement in analysis of new product development and business development base case financial models.
  • Partner with commercial sales team to create sustainable processes around unique deal structures that both drive topline revenue and ensure profitability for the business.
  • Prepares and analyzes financial statements and reports for monthly and quarterly financial reporting, tax reports, and other internal and external reports as required.
  • Analyzes monthly operating performance and profit projections for reporting and develops action items to influence results.
  • Evaluates system requirements with an eye toward automating different aspects of the finance/accounting cycles.
  • Attract and develop talent; drive strong team management including prioritization and providing assistance; championing employee development which includes hiring, communicating company policies, administering performance appraisals, and coaching and counseling to help employees improve their skill set and advance their careers.
  • Listens, participates, and contributes to enhancement of current processes and new system innovations.
  • Adheres to standards of training and providing documentation, continuous performance enhancement, and reliability.
  • Assists with the development and tracking of annual budgets.
  • Drives cost changes throughout the organization.
  • Generates data and analysis to assist in key business decisions for the division.
  • Support the ERP migration project, Accelerate and other special projects as required.
  • Ensure familiarity and correct application of Corporate and Division cost accounting policies and principles

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in related field or equivalent (MBA Preferred)
  • 8+ years of finance/accounting experience (CPA preferred)
  • Previous management experience is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Access, Excel and Oracle/SAP ERP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially to senior management.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow; strong attention to detail.
