What Will You Do?

The Credit Analyst will manage all accounts and administer credit polices to maximize return on corporate investment in Accounts Receivable, while minimizing bad debt losses and days sales outstanding. This individual will maintain and facilitate a positive working relationship between the credit department and the marketing specialists as well as all other areas of the company. In addition, he/she will maintain and facilitate a positive relationship with the customer base through collection activities. The ADS Credit Analyst is responsible for determining payment terms, credit lines, collecting past due invoices and taking risks necessary to allow the company to grow while keeping bad debt to a minimum.

  • Use a computer to monitor and maintain customers’ accounts, analyzing customer financial data, sales history, credit lines and customer payment history.
  • Use a multiline phone system, email, fax, mail, and instant messaging to professionally communicate with internal and external customers throughout the business day.
  • Process and manage customers’ accounts according to standard operating procedures.
  • Process and manage customer invoices according to standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor and collect on delinquent accounts.
  • Field incoming calls from customers, drivers, and marketing specialist.
  • Analyze customer financial data, sales history, reports, credit lines and customer payment history.
  • Collect deductions that have been denied
  • Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.

What Do You Need?

  • Associate degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience, Preferred
  • Previous experience in a finance work environment is a plus
  • Ability to remain calm, address difficult customer issues or concerns
  • Experience in a customer facing and/or high call volume setting is a plus
  • Must be a self-starter and possess a positive attitude
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Must have an articulate and clear phone demeanor
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
