Description
The Health Solutions Business Area of Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Program Financial Analyst, within the Health Solutions Business Area.
The successful candidate will report to the Health Solutions Finance & Business Operations Manager. This position requires an energetic and detail oriented financial analyst to support contracts.
The Program Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on projects of various contract types, size, complexity, and level of risk. In addition, this opportunity has significant interface with Project Manager, Contracts, Project Accounting, as well as other organizations and will work closely with the program manager and Senior Financial Analyst, to help define program goals; create and maintain a program’s budget, schedule, subcontractors, and preparing EACs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include EAC management, budgeting, forecasting, managing subcontractor hours, costs, and funding needs, as well as analysis of all contract cost and financial data.
- Developing and driving financial forecasts and analyzing the program’s revenue and costs; this includes AOP, CTTP, working forecast, and quarterly forecasts. Validating bookings, backlog, revenue, OI, and FCF.
- Supporting program invoicing and funding deliverables
- Assist in managing the month-end close process and performing variance/trend analyses
- Program life-cycle activities such as project setup/maintenance, invoicing support, accruals, financial projections, and month end close.
- Development and maintenance of Estimates at Completion (EAC)s
- Managing subcontractor hours and costs assessing funding needs
- Supporting program invoicing and funding deliverables within contract terms
- The position requires strong organization, analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- In addition, candidate must possess the ability to work independently, in a team environment, with various organizational levels and manage multiple priorities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst or a Master’s and 2+ years’ experience as a financial analyst
- Strong MS Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables) and Office skills (e.g. PowerPoint)
- High level of attention to detail; problem solver
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Leidos Financial Systems and Contract Setup Processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Power Pivot, Power BI, Power Query, Insight
- Integrated cost/Schedule analysis experience
- Prior experience in government contracting

Pay Range:
Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
